Who we are

Carly Brunton

Clinical Director

Carly Brunton

Clinical Director

Carly is an advanced practice physiotherapist and independent prescriber.  She brings a wealth of experience to the clinic with her background in private practice physiotherapy.  She also lights the place up with her warmth and kindness, and her dedication to her patients is what keeps our customers coming back.

Carly deals with a wide range of pathologies in her role, conducts referral diagnostics and manages both acute and chronic conditions.  She utilises a wealth of modalities, including manual therapy, rehab exercises, cortisone injection therapy, acupuncture, electrotherapy and joint manipulations.

Carly will prescribe medication only as a last resort.  She champions hands-on treatment with a focus on finding an accurate clinical diagnosis and backing this up with diagnostic evidence such as MRI and ultrasound scans to ensure clarity and accuracy for her patients.

It is important to Carly that the practice operates in harmony with nature and reflects her ethics for sustainability and animal welfare.  That’s why you will find recycled bed roles, organic oils and eco-friendly PETA approved products throughout our practice.

Carly is a talented equestrian who has spent her life around horses.  Animals are her true love in life, and if she isn’t out exploring nature with her two miniature sausage dogs, Franklin and Ru, she will be at the yard with her two very spoilt horses, Bobby and River.

Faye Roger

Senior Physiotherapist

Faye Rodger

Senior Physiotherapist

Faye is a talented musculoskeletal specialist who everyone loves, she is personable and creates a warm and welcoming environment for her patients.

She has previously worked within the NHS, rotating through various departments and settings in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  Faye has gained invaluable experience in all realms of Physiotherapy; including, neurology and neurological conditions, respiratory, A&E, frailty and Musculoskeletal conditions, which is where her specialist skills lie.

Faye’s treatments are holistic in nature with an emphasis on education and allowing greater understanding of your condition.  She uses a mix of physiotherapy modalities to maximise pain relief, restore range of movement and develop strength.

“I love working within MSK as no two people will present the same with their condition – the human body is like a jigsaw and it’s my job to put all the pieces together”

Outside of work, Faye thrives outdoors. She enjoys hiking with her two lovely dogs, Billy, who she claims is a nuisance to society, and Wilson, who is the Angel of the two. Personally, we think they’re both adorable.

Katie Wharton

Senior Physiotherapist

Katie Wharton

Physiotherapist

Katie is an absolute breath of fresh air. She’s kind, caring and exudes warmth and positive energy. She loves the outdoors, especially hiking and camping with her loyal Jack Russell.

She keeps herself in peak fitness by a combination of training in the gym, Pilates classes, spin, badminton and running. She has also danced professionally for over 10 years, including performing at Disneyland Paris.

When she’s not working out or exploring the countryside with her little four legged pal,  she enjoys shopping and trying out new places to eat. Katie graduated from Manchester Metropolitan university with first-class honours and holds an additional Level 4 qualification in sports massage.

We’re very lucky to have Katie as part of the team, she’s an extremely intelligent, proactive physiotherapist and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience but is generally just wonderful to have around and lifts all our spirits even on the darkest of days.

Aaron Pimblett

Aaron Pimblett

Physiotherapist

We’re very blessed to have Aaron as part of the team. He is an absolute gentleman, the gentle giant around the clinic and no matter what chaos is occurring around him, he never looses his head despite working with five women. He is incredibly polite, caring and warm towards everyone he meets and is a great listener.

His passion for physiotherapy started after suffering a pretty significant knee injury playing rugby league which led him to go on to study physiotherapy at the university of Bolton and graduate with a merit. Aaron comes from a sporting background, and his family are extremely athletic too, but his skills have expanded vastly over the years to allow him to treat a wide variety of injuries and conditions.

In his spare time when he isn’t working hard or training, he enjoys going for long walks and watching his favourite football team Manchester United but we won’t hold that against him.

Helen Jones

Practice manager

Helen Jones

Practice manager

Helen is our very own superwoman. She is the most efficient practice manager anyone could ask for.  She keeps the practice running smoothly and kicks us into touch when we’re falling behind on admin and paperwork.  We really couldn’t manage without Helen.  She will be the first smiling face you see upon entering the clinic and will be happy to greet you and ensure that your visit is a positive one.  Helen has a wonderful loving family, including 3 beautiful daughters and 3 dashing grandsons who she devotes her time to when she isn’t keeping our heads above water.  She loves to jet off and spend lots of time in the sun, leaving us panic-stricken, counting down the days until her return.

Lorraine Travis

Receptionist

Lorraine Travis

Receptionist

Lorraine is our fabulous, fun and hardworking receptionist and also a knowledgeable sports therapist.  In the past, she has worked with various rugby union teams and worked with the rehab team at St Helens Hospital.  She puts us all to shame with her ridiculous levels of fitness.  She’s out wild swimming, hiking, camping and walking her old boy Rodney, the British bulldog, every chance she gets.  And when she does finally sit down, she likes to relax with candles, incense and mindfulness meditation.  Lorraine cheers us all up with her warm and friendly vibes, she loves her cosy home comforts and brings such a homely and welcoming feel to the clinic.
